  • The contractor will adopt the Forco name once the current trading period ends, alongside a new strategy and 2030 productivity targets.
  • Mace Construct will continue trading under its current name until the New Year before becoming Forco, following its separation from Mace Consult in March. The rebrand comes with a new corporate strategy and productivity targets through 2030, while the contractor says client teams and delivery commitments remain unchanged.

Mace Construct will change its name to Forco after the New Year, the contractor has confirmed. The business will keep trading as Mace Construct until then, with the new identity set to be introduced alongside a corporate strategy and productivity targets running through 2030.

The decision follows the separation of Mace Construct and Mace Consult into two businesses in March. Under that arrangement, Mace Consult retained the Mace brand. Forco will therefore become the new name for the contracting business.

The contractor described the Forco name as short, impactful and easy to pronounce. Mark Reynolds, executive chair, said the change reflects a commitment to being the UK’s most forward-thinking contractor and to becoming its most productive by 2030. He also said the business’s culture, values and people would remain central despite the new name and brand.

Continuity for clients

Reynolds said clients should expect the same teams, the same approach to delivery and the same focus on creating lasting places and infrastructure. The company also pointed to its 35-year record of raising standards and helping to move the industry forward.

The Forco identity is due to take effect from the New Year. The corporate strategy and productivity targets that will accompany the launch have not been detailed in the announcement.
